The live room at GIZMO Productions USA is a central part of our full service recording facility. Located at 1475 Oviedo Mall Boulevard in Oviedo, Florida, this spacious and acoustically designed room is built to capture instruments and ensembles with clarity, energy, and natural presence. It is well suited for drum sessions, full band tracking, acoustic instruments, group performances, ensemble work, and projects that benefit from the warmth and depth of a real room.

Artists, performers, and production clients rely on the live room to capture dynamic and authentic performances. Our engineering team records drums, guitars, bass, piano, strings, percussion, group vocals, choirs, spoken word projects, and live video sessions in this space. Because the live room connects directly with the control room and ISO booth, it supports both isolated tracking and full ensemble recording depending on project needs.

Room Design, Acoustics, and Equipment

The live room measures approximately 30 feet wide by 22 feet deep with 13 foot ceilings and is designed as a moderately dampened recording environment. Its size and structure allow for flexible microphone placement, comfortable performer spacing, and natural reflections without introducing unwanted echo or noise. This balance creates a warm, full sound that supports expressive performances across many instruments and styles.

Available equipment includes guitar amplifiers such as Fender Twin Reverb units, Blackstar, Crate CR60, Fender Acoustisonic, and Fender Bassman 40. Keyboard options include Korg T1, Korg X3, Korg CX3, Hammond T212, Arp Pro Soloist, an M Audio controller, and Korg RK 100. Drum and percussion resources include CB700 6 piece 150th Anniversary, Ludwig 5 piece, GP 4 piece kits, assorted Zildjian and Paiste cymbals, Alesis and Roland electronic drum kits, Roland R 8 Human Rhythm Composer, Latin percussion congas and bongos, timpani, dombek, and a large array of additional percussion with a rolling trap table.
